2025 Summer Programs

Discover our exciting Summer programming schedule, designed to cater to players of all ages and abilities. From juniors as young as 4 to JV/Varsity tennis players aged 14-18 and high performance players, we have a variety of clinic options available. Clinics are organized into small groups, grouped by age and level, with each stage color-coded to represent different age groups.

Tennis Tots (Ages: 4–5)

An introduction to tennis for our youngest players. Hand-eye coordination, basic movements, cooperation & fun games are all used to teach basic skills. This class is designed to introduce tennis in a fun way to help kids establish a love for the game.

Two Sessions: Conducted in the afternoon; All classes are one hours per week.

  • Session 1: 5/26–7/11 (7 week sessions; Memorial & Independence Day Observed)

  • Session 2: 7/14–8/22 (6 weeks)

Cost:

  • Session 1: $405/person

  • Session 2: $289/person

Red Ball (Ages: 5–9)

This tennis class teaches 5–9-year-olds the basics of tennis. Low compression red balls are used to make contact easier. The class focuses on technique, racquet control, cooperation, and movement. Fun games keep kids interested. Red 2 level introduces the second stage of Trumbull Racquet Club tennis. This level focuses on topspin, grips, and footwork.

Two Sessions: Conducted in the afternoon; All classes are one hours per week.

Orange Ball (Ages 8–10)

Orange Ball tennis is for beginner and intermediate players 10 and under who are ready to play on a slightly larger court. Classes continue building athletic skills while teaching or refining the skills needed to serve, rally, and score. Players must demonstrate and maintain proper technique during point and match play.

Two Sessions: Conducted in the afternoon; All classes are one hours per week.

Green Ball (Ages 11–13)

Green Ball tennis uses a rally-based curriculum, focusing on sending and receiving skills, footwork, racquet mechanics, and related athletic skills. Players learn proper positioning for groundstrokes and volleys, how to hit with purpose, serve, and sustain rallies of varying speeds and durations. Each player develops their strengths and learns to use them strategically.

Two Sessions: Conducted in the afternoon; All classes are one hours per week.

  • Session 2: 7/14–8/22 (6 weeks)

Yellow Ball (Ages 13+)

Yellow Ball tennis uses a rally-based curriculum, emphasizing sending/receiving skills, footwork, racquet mechanics, and related athletic skills. Players learn proper positioning for groundstrokes and volleys, hitting with purpose, serving, and sustaining rallies. This program offers intermediate teens a fun, competitive environment to progress their skills. Participants should have prior experience and high school tennis aspirations. Stroke development, footwork, and singles/doubles strategies are covered.
